Cleveland Cavaliers RUMORS: Kevin Love Frustrated With Cavs, Struggling To Find Role In Offense - Lakers In 2015?

Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love reportedly is frustrated with the team as he continues to struggle finding his role in the offensive system. While Love has been positive in his comments to the public, Jason Lloyd of Ohio.com reports Love's frustration is beginning to show.

Love went from a team's No. 1 option to a team's No. 2 or No. 3 option. His numbers are down, and he's looked uncomfortable at times in coach David Blatt's offense, which reportedly has the first-year Cav growing frustrated.

"Kevin Love is trying to stay positive publicly, but his frustration within this system is beginning to show," Lloyd wrote Thursday.

Lloyd's report followed a report on Nov. 10 from Bulls.com's Sam Smith, who said Love will "seriously consider" opting out of his contract and signing with the Los Angeles Lakers as a free agent in July.

"It's not going to get as much discussion during the season, but one of the biggest issues for the Cavs is that both LeBron James and Kevin Love own opt outs after this season," Smith wrote. "LeBron James basically cannot afford to go anywhere after his return to Cleveland. But watch out for Love. Indications are he will seriously consider the opt out and has his eyes on a return to Los Angeles, where he attended college and where the Lakers long have had him on their free agent wish list."

Love has spoken about his early struggles in adjusting to Cleveland's offense, but he's sounded optimistic - at least publicly - about everything working out with more time.

"It's come to a point where I'm just trying to find myself in this offense," Love said after Wednesday's 92-90 loss to San Antonio, via ESPN. "It's almost related to when you come into the league; usually guys that dominate the ball so much tend to learn a lot quicker than a guy like myself, a big man. So I'm just trying to find different spots in the offense.

"I'll just say we're 10 games in, we're looking at different stuff. I need to find myself. I think everybody knew coming in that we'd have to sacrifice, but at some point we're going to need some low-post scoring and some outside shooting."

Love took only one shot in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game, finishing with a season-low 10 points.
