"The Sandlot" is one of my all-time favorite sports movies, but the famous "you play ball like a girl" line may be a little outdated.
Sam Gordon, 11, plays some pretty darn impressive football, regardless of gender. Her two-way talent made her the first female footballer to grace the Wheaties cereal box cover, earned her the Most Viral Player Award on Cartoon Network's "Hall of Game" awards show, an invitation into Roger Goodell's suite at the Super Bowl and more. Watching her highlights, I'm convinced that all these honors were well deserved. Girl can flat out ball.
