South Carolina Man, 350 Pounds, Busted Sitting On Stolen Walmart Steaks While Riding Motorized Scooter

South Carolina police arrested a 350-pound man they say tried to escape a Walmart with five stolen steaks, which he hid between his derrière and the seat of his getaway motorized scooter, The Smoking Gun reported.

On Tuesday afternoon, a loss prevention officer at the Walmart in Spartanburg, South Carolina, saw 43-year-old Rodney Folwer place five rib eye steaks in the scooter he was riding around the store in, according to a police report obtained by TSG.

"Suspect sat on the steaks and exited the store passing all points of sale, without attempting to pay for said merchandise," police wrote.

The loss prevention officer caught up with Fowler before he could flee the premises and brought him back inside.

Police arrived and arrested Folwer for shoplifting, noting in their report they had to use two pairs of handcuffs due to his size.

Fowler was later issued a citation and ordered to appear in court at an unspecified date.

It is unclear what happened to the five rib eye steaks.
