Kendra Wilkinson is sticking by her man, despite his recent infidelity scandal.
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, the former Playboy playmate and her husband of five years, Hank Baskett, - in their first joint interview - finally opened up about the current status of their marriage, after reports revealed that Baskett cheated on his wife with transsexual model, Ava Sabrina London.
Wilkinson told Us Weekly that it will "take a lifetime" before she can fully trust her husband again. Baskett said he understands his wife's trust issues, and added that he will "spend his life" trying to get his wife to trust him.
The former football player has yet to confirm or deny the infidelity rumors. His wife has been highly criticized for defending her marriage despite her husband's recent scandal.
However, the former "Girls Next Door" star said Baskett is putting effort into trying to fix their marriage. The pair said they will do whatever is best for their children: four-year-old Hank Jr. and six-month-old Alijah.
"All I can say is I believe Hank. I love Hank. And he's proven to me that he's worth forgiving and fighting for," she said. "He was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and unfortunate things took place. He's very gullible and naive."
Baskett responded by saying, "Our relationship is still day-to-day. I'm still working on regaining Kendra's trust."
Wilkinson learned about her husband's alleged infidelity about two weeks after giving birth to the couple's second child. They are currently working out their marital issues on their reality show "Kendra On Top" and WE's "Marriage Bootcamp."
In the season premiere, Wilkinson admitted to flushing her wedding ring down the toilet and also throwing her wedding album in the pool.
"I would cry myself to sleep every night, not knowing what happened," she explained to the publication. "I was trying to get what I could out of Hank, but I couldn't control my rage. It became very volatile between us."
Baskett and Wilkinson married in 2009.
