LeBron James and the Miami Heat visit the San Antonio Spurs Tuesday night for Game 3 of the 2013 NBA Finals. Tipoff is at 9 p.m. ET. ABC is broadcasting the match, or you can watch the live stream HERE.
The Spurs won Game 1 in the waning seconds, but Miami turned Game 2 in to a 103-84 rout. Now the series goes to San Antonio for Games 1 and 2. The Spurs were successful in at least grabbing one win in Miami. Now they have three more games to be played in San Antonio, according to the Associated Press.
Those three home games won't mean anything for the Spurs if they play like they did in the second half of Game 2.
"Of course if you look at the result, being 1-1, it's not bad. But you don't want to play like this in an NBA Finals," Spurs guard Manu Ginobili told reporters. "You don't want to give them that much confidence, and you feeling bad about yourself."
Spurs guard Tony Parker agreed.
"We have to play better. Definitely have to play better," Parker told reporters. "You know, we're playing the defending champs. They're a great team. We knew they were going to come in and play with a lot more energy and paly harder. That's what they did tonight."
James didn't have to dominate on offense in Game 2, thanks to solid performances from Mario Chalmers, Ray Allen and Chris Bosh.
"I think the supporting cast is really why both teams are here," James told reporters. "They've been making an impact all year long, and they feel like their supporting cast is better. We feel like our supporting cast is better. It's who goes out and do [sic] it each and every night to help seal wins."
When a series is tied 1-1, Game 3 usually determines who wins the title, according to NBA.com.
