Apparently, Abigail Breslin is now a singer, an unfortunate development for the young man at the center of her first single "You Suck."
The Oscar-nominated actress, best known for her work in "Little Miss Sunshine," never makes specific mention of the boy's name. She does wish he'd "fly to the moon where there are no girls to use or screw over."
The lyrics do give several hints to the identity and fans have narrowed the possibilities down to her exes Jack Barakat and "5 Seconds of Summer" singer Michael Clifford. The latter has the bleached hair and a scar above his eye that Breslin mentions in the song. The line, "sounds like All Time Low," could refer to Barakat's band name.
"This is a song I wrote about those guys who are players and use people and just generally aren't really good people," Breslin told Teen Vogue, which premiered the video. "It's about things I've witnessed - it's not OK when guys don't have respect for girls. I wrote it in the heat of the moment, and I thin k a lot of people will relate to it."
The actress-singer also revealed a "huge source" of inspiration for her music comes from guys as well as living in New York and the experiences she and her friends have.
"In your teen years, everything is kind of heightened - I started feeling like that when I was 16. It was like every emotion I could possibly feel was intensified by a million," Breslin said.
"You Suck" is one of the 12 tracks on her upcoming debut album, which drops in April. She will also star in the zombie flick "Maggie" opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger set to premeire next year.
