Missouri (9-2) heads into Friday's contest looking for their sixth straight win after last weekend's 29-21 victory at Tennessee. Quarterback Maty Mauk threw for 230 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and running back Marcus Murphy rushed for 82 yards and two scores while running back Russell Hansbrough added 68 yards on the ground.
"Everybody said we were going to lose this game, too," said Missouri defensive end Shane Ray, via ESPN. "It doesn't look like it."
Now the Tigers are poised to clinch their second Eastern Division championship, only needing to defeat Arizona at home.
"They know it's out there," said coach Gary Pinkel, via the Associated Press. "I'd like to believe they understand that all their attention and focus has to be on themselves. You don't want your players playing with any fear at all. You want them to play with a lot of confidence."
The day will be extra emotional as Missouri honors its 19 seniors before kickoff.
"You grow such a great bond because you go through so much together," senior left tackle Mitch Morse said. "It will be a sad day. I've had way too much fun with the guys, and I told them how much they mean to me and how they've made this season of mine so special."
Arkansas (6-5), meanwhile, are looking for their second straight win after their 30-0 blowout of Ole Miss. The Razorbacks' defense has been incredible in their last two games, giving up zero points in that span of games.
Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen, who missed the second half of last week's win over with a hip injury, is uncertain for Friday.
