Google has made several new features available for its Apps for Works service to help users make their accounts more secure.
Among these new features is a new "Devices and Activity dashboard" that lets users see if any devices have accessed their accounts over the last 28 days, according to PC Magazine. If the user doesn't recognize these devices, they can use a huge link above the device list to change their password to keep third parties from getting into their account in the future.
The search giant wrote in a blog post on Monday that Apps for Work accounts will also get a security wizard that shows users how to turn on or adjust security features. Such methods include providing contact information to recover accounts and reviewing recent account activity.
"Plus it only takes minutes for users to update their settings. This tool prioritizes all administrator settings for security features that end users are permitted to turn on," Google added.
The security wizard will provide short questions that will have simple answers, PC Magazine reported.
Google also wrote in the blog post that it understands the importance of security in the cloud and keeping company information secure.
"By making users more aware of their security settings and the activity on their devices, we can work together to stay a step ahead of any bad guys," the company wrote.
