Last week, American Federation of Teachers (AFT) banned Coca-Cola from its facilities and events.
AFT, one of the largest teacher's unions in America, banned the company's products based on human rights violations, which have been detailed in three books published several years ago.
Coca Cola responded to the claims by calling them "outdated and erroneous allegations that we have repeatedly addressed."
Larry Sand, president of the California Teachers Empowerment Network, told Watch Dog that while he agrees with AFT's argument he is unsure if they will be able to successfully keep all Coca Cola products from their campus including Minute Maid drinks and Nestea.
This isn't the first time AFT is banning a company for the way they run their business.
Earlier this year the teacher's union banned Staples, their only office supply store chain, because they claimed Staples selling postage would jeopardize 80,000 postal workers' jobs.
