S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Skye and Koenig (Billy, not the shorter Sam) have taken custody of Raina, but Agent Melinda May's evil twin will make transporting her to safety difficult.
In a new sneak peek for "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", Koenig and Raina wait in a safe house until his brother arrives. Instead, Skye knocks on the door and ushers the two out into the hall where they encounter supposed team member Agent May, who does not look friendly with her gun at the ready.
Skye yells for Koenig to reroute Raina down the back stairs, while she takes care of the wicked May. The rookie agent will need to utilize the skills the real May has taught her to defeat whatever villainous entity has taken over May's body.
The S.H.I.E.L.D. agents need to keep Raina safe and away from HYDRA leader Daniel Whitehall, who has devious plans for "The Girl in the Flower Dress." She also shares an important connection to Skye, which "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will explore further in the last two episodes before the winter hiatus.
"You'll find out that Skye and Raina have something in common - and it's not that they're brunettes," Bennet told TV Guide. "Some of our überfans think the two of them are aliens. Or maybe they're something else - something different and special. It's all leading to a reveal that's mother-effing crazy."
While Skye and May throw down, Director Phil Coulson will lead the rest of his team to ancient city depicted in the alien writings he and others had been drawing. They found its location buried beneath the city of San Juan, Puerto Rico, but HYDRA holds the key to unlock the temple inside that could set off a mass casualty event.
