Britney Spears' relationship with Charlie Ebersol seems to be heading in the right direction.
Less than a month after the 32-year-old "Toxic" singer confirmed her relationship with Ebersol, the couple spent their first Thanksgiving weekend together, along with Spears' two sons - nine-year-old Sean Preston and eight-year-old Jayden James.
Spears posted an adorable snapshot of her new beau carrying her while they played in the ocean with her sons.
"So grateful for family time this weekend. My boys!" the caption read.
Ebersol, the son of "Saturday Night Live" co-creator Dick Ebersol and actress Susan Saint James, has already received the "stamp of approval " from the pop star's other family members. An insider described Ebersol as being "driven, smart and ambitious," People Magazine reported.
"They are very excited that she is dating Charlie. He does well financially and is very private," an insider told People. "They don't have to worry about whether he is using Britney."
The two were introduced to each other through friends, and have been spending time getting to know one another. A source told E! News that Ebersol is "the sweetest guy ever" and added that the two "are both very happy and having fun."
Spears, who began dating Ebersol after splitting from David Lucado earlier this year, confirmed her relationship to Extra during the "Britney Day" celebration in Las Vegas, and said, "Its very new."
