That has to hurt!
Rapper Busta Rhymes was left with a head injury after he fell off stage during a performance at Webster Hall in New York on Friday, TMZ reported. The incident occurred while the 42-year-old rapper was making an appearance at the nightclub to support his protégé, hip-hop artist O.T. Genasis, during a performance of his viral hit "CoCo."
While banging his head and holding what looking liked a liquor bottle and a cigar, Busta Rhymes lost his balance and fell into the crowd headfirst. In a video posted on his Facebook and Instagram page, two people are seen trying to help the rapper back on his feet, while blood is running down his face.
TMZ reported that Busta Rhymes was taken backstage and treated for his injuries, however he did not return to the stage to continue his performance. He later took to Twitter to thank his fans for their support, saying he was feeling, "super good."
The rapper was also able to make fun of the situation, writing, "YO Wiz Khalifa I THINK MY STAGE DIVE WAS BETTER THAN YOURS. LMFAO,"
