Florida hunter, Clark Woodsby, too down a 13-foot, 719 pound alligator with a crossbow during a recent excursion according to The New York Post.
"It was a rush - sort of a heart attack. You just try to stay calm," Woodsby said.
Woodsby hit the reptile in the shoulder from 15 yards away, maneuvered it on to a boat, and shot it in the head using a .357 magnum, all while carrying out a job to discard the animal.
Woodsby intends to offer the reptile's meat to customers of his restaurant chain.
