'RiffTrax Live' Team Hitting Over 600 Theaters This Week With 'Santa Claus' in Their Comedy Sights

For those not in the know the comedic geniuses behind the old Comedy Central show, "Mystery Science Theater 3000" are now known as RiffTrax, and they are still doing what they do best: destroying hilariously awful old movies.

Coming this Thursday evening, December 4, "RiffTrax Live #14: Santa Claus" will be in movie theaters for one night only.

Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett, who played Mike Nelson, Tom Servo, and Crow T. Robot on Mystery Science Theater 3000, bring their 14th RiffTrax Live to 600+ theaters nationwide. You can check out all the locations that this special event will be held right here.

The show itself will be filmed live on stage in Nashville, TN then beamed directly to theaters coast to coast, "RiffTrax Live" is an event for old MST3K fans, laugh seekers, and their friends.

2014 has seen the cheesy movies "Sharknado," "GODZILLA," and "Anaconda" riffed live for hundreds of thousands of movie goers. Now "Santa Claus" will be lovingly roasted by the legends of movie commentary. The bizarre 1959 film, "Santa Claus," directed by K. Gordon Murray, will provide the backdrop for the evening. And if you've never seen this film, I can assure you that you'll never forget once you have. It is just that weird.
