On this very same day exactly one year ago, Paul Walker died in a fiery car crash - a scene that portrayed the "Fast & Furious" actor's well-known role, except unfortunately, this was not on a big screen nor was it a stunt.
It's one year later, and no one has forgotten the blue-eyed, charismatic charmer.
Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris were among the first stars to recall their memories of Walker.
"I love you Paul. Your living in the hearts of all who love you for sure. Sending mad love out to Heaven @SupportROWW," Rodriguez wrote on Twitter above a black and white photo of a happy Paul.
Reach Out Worldwide, or ROWW, is the late actor's charity designed to help victims of natural disasters, and is now maintained by Walker's brother, Cody, according to The Daily Mail.
Rapper Ludacris also posted a black and white photo of Walker on Instagram, along with the caption, "Can't believe it's been a year already. Your spirit will be felt in volumes across the world forever."
Vin Diesel took to social media to express his feelings about the loss of his friend and co-star of "Fast & Furious."
"He was a part of so much in my life," he wrote on his Facebook page. "He was an important part of my transition into fatherhood... that healthy family member, with the most positive outlook on life."
Walker's 16-year-old daughter Meadow added a photo of her and her father from when she was a baby. She accompanied the Instagram picture with the simplest, yet most powerful words that we all want to hear..."I love you."
"I feel his presence every day. I miss talking to him a great deal. He had a good heart," Paul Walker Sr. said of his son in a recent interview with E! News.
Fans gathered on Sunday at the site of the car crash where both Walker and friend Roger Rodas were killed instantly after Rodas lost control of the car and it careened into a tree.
Visitors left flowers and candles to commemorate both of them, the Daily Mail reported.
For his family, friends and fans alike, Paul Walker will no doubt live on in the engines of their beings.
Paul is survived by his younger brothers Cody and Caleb, and 16-year-old daughter Meadow.
