Rachel Uchitel, the former mistress of golfer Tiger Woods, is getting a divorce from her husband of a year-and-a-half. According to TMZ, Uchitel called 911 in May on her husband, Matt Hahn, requesting assistance getting him out of the house after a nasty argument. However, Uchitel did not follow up and press charges on Hahn.
A source connected to the couple told the celebrity website that that Hahn is the one who recently filed for divorce citing "cruel and inhumane treatment." According to the source the two have been getting into a lot of nasty arguments lately and Hahn is claiming that Uchitel slapped him after he was repeatedly calling her names.
The couple have a one-year-old daughter together and both are reportedly asking for custody of the little girl. According to TMZ, Hahn not only wants custody of their daughter but is also asking for child support and spousal support.
Uchitel's rep, Howard Bragman, told TMZ that his client wants a quiet divorce and it is not her intention to settle her divorce in the public eye.
"It is Ms. Uchitel's goal to resolve this action amicably, quickly and quietly and not in the media," her rep said.
Uchitel and Hahn got married in a small ceremony at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, the Daily Mail reports. This would be the second divorce for Uchitel. Her six-year marriage to Elin Nordegren ended after the public 2009 Tiger Woods scandal when it was discovered that she was having an affair with the famed golfer. According to the Daily Mail, Uchitel said becoming a mom completely changed her.
"Being a mum has changed me," she said. "I'm more focused on my daughter now than I am on myself."
Uchitel appeared in headlines again in 2011 after it was revealed that she was having an affair with "Bones" star David Boreanaz while his wife, Jamie Bergman, was pregnant with their second child. She was also engaged to investment banker James Andrew O'Grady who died in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. The former nightclub hostess also appeared on the show "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew."
