WARNING: Major spoilers from tonight's episode of "The Flash/Arrow" crossover.
So far, the CW's crossover of "The Flash" and "Arrow" is epic! Not only did fans get to see Oliver Queen (aka Green Arrow, played by Stephen Amell) and Barry Allen (aka Flash, played by Grant Gustin) share a screen together, the network also dropped a major bombshell.
Oliver is a father! During the hour-long episode (which is back for part two on Wednesday) Oliver ran into actress Anna Hopkins' character, who was introduced in the second season as one of Oliver's girlfriends. She was also pregnant but was convinced to disappear and lie about the baby. Oliver had no clue - and still doesn't - that's he's a dad.
"Ever since [episode] 220, the idea that Oliver may have a kid- and now we're finally confirming it- is something that I put under the same category of Felicity's backstory," executive producer Marc Guggenheim told Entertainment Weekly. "We have ideas and we know what we're going to do, we don't necessarily know when we're going to do it."
It still hasn't been revealed who exactly Hopkins is playing on "Arrow" but there's been some fan speculation that she's Sandra Hawke, who does give birth to Oliver's baby in the comics.
"The person who we see in the 'Flash-Arrow' episode will make another appearance on the show this season, but we're not sure if it's going to be on 'Flash' or 'Arrow,'" executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said. "That's definitely something we're going to be picking up on."
Amell then teased that Oliver may not be the first person to find out about his secret baby.
