A high school girl in Florida has been arrested for pimping out minors via Facebook, according to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
Seventeen-year-old Alexa Nicole De Armas was charged with human trafficking of a person younger than 18, which is a felony. One of the Facebook johns paid $40 and a bottle of alcohol in exchange for sex with a 15-year-old, who later told police she was forced to have sex against her will. Multiple deals were made via Facebook private messaging. Prices went as high as $100 for sex with a virgin.
The prostitution ring was found out when four students who were approached by De Armas confided in school administrators about the business De Armas was running with a male student, according to Herald-Tribune.
"Why pimp out old hoes when I have fresh young hoes I can give up for money?" De Armas wrote in one Facebook exchange to her business partner, according to Herald-Tribune, "As long as I'm getting paid, I'm trafficking all these (expletive deleted)."
