Man Uses McChicken Sandwich As Weapon On His Pregnant Wife

Iowa man Marvin Hill II was arrested and had his weapons permit confiscated on Tuesday for assaulting his pregnant wife with a McDonald's McChicken sandwich, The Des Moines Register reported.

Hill, who is still in custody on a domestic assault charge, reacted agressively when he tasted a sandwich his wife gave him at around 1 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon in their Des Moines home.

The man, who had just woken up, reacted with anger upon taking a bite of the McChicken "because he doesn't like them."

According to police, Hill forcefully hit the bun into his wife's face after taking a bite out of the chicken sandwich. He then video recorded his wife cleaning herself up in the bathroom on his cell phone. In the footage, Hill's wife knocks the phone out of his hands, but police believe that she was coaxed by Hill to do so because he wanted her to look like the angry one in the dispute.

Hill originally told police that he was the victim of abuse in the case, but later confessed and showed police the video, according to the report.

Officers say Hill's wife had mayonnaise on her face and shirt and that her nose was swollen when they were asking her questions.
