Jimmy Fallon will wrap up a pretty incredible year at the end of 2014. He started as the new host of "The Tonight Show" and brought it back to New York. Entertainment Weekly named him "Entertainer of the Year," and he welcomed his second child, daughter Frances Cole into the world.
Fallon and his wife Nancy added a new baby to their family on Wednesday morning, according to People. The couple chose to keep the pregnancy secret until the birth.
"Frances Cole Fallon officially entered the world at 8:45 a.m. on Dec. 3, weighing 5 lbs., 11 oz. and is 18.5 inches long," a rep said in a statement. "Their new addition joins big sister, Winnie Rose, [16 months]. The couple opted to keep their baby joy to themselves until their new daughter made her official debut. Both Fallon babies were born via surrogate."
The 40-year-old late-night host first became a father in July 2013. She measured about the same size as her little sister at 5 lbs., 9 oz.
Fallon departed his "Late Night" gig in February and then started on "The Tonight Show" about two weeks later. Entertainment Weekly named him "Entertainer of the Year" for 2014 for the magazine's Best and Worst issue out on Dec. 12.
"This has been the craziest year of my life," he told People in June. "But being a father is the most exciting, amazing thing that ever happened to me. And everything's going well on the show. My life has never been this cool."
"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" airs at 11:34 p.m. on NBC.
