A Colorado woman was shocked when she gave birth to her daughter that weighed 13 pounds 13 ounces, WF My News reported on Thursday.
Mia Yasmin Garcia was welcomed into the world by C-section on Monday and was 22 inches long.
Expecting a seven pound baby, mother Alisha Hernandez was schedules for a C-section on Dec. 4. But Hernandez went into labor a little early on Monday and ended up having to have the baby by C-section that night.
Mia was flown to a children's hospital in Aurora due to low blood glucose levels and difficulty breathing, but is now stable, Hernandez's cousin said.
Mia joins her four older sisters; Ximena Hernandez, Yuliana Hernandez and Britney Gonzalez. Francisco Garcia is the proud father of Mia, USA Today reported.
