England can secure a place in the ICC Champions Trophy semifinals with a win over Sri Lanka on Thursday. The match starts at 8 a.m. ET. Tune into Sky Sports 1 or watch the live stream HERE.
England is coming off a victory against Australia at Birmingham, Sky Sports reports. England skipper Alastair Cook believes his team is back on track.
"The win against Australia was a good one, as was the last one against New Zealand," he told reporters. "The first two games against New Zealand seem to be out of the way.
"We seem to have recovered a bit of form and confidence now. It's a vitally important game tomorrow, we can make a really big stride towards the semi-finals if we win."
England's squad will be bolstered by the return of Graeme Swann. The off-spinner missed the match against Australia because of a back problem, but he participated in practice on Wednesday at the Oval.
"Swanny is fit," Cook announced at the pre-match press conference. "His injury was a strange one. He must have jarred his back in training and woke up with a stiff back the next day.
"That can happen but at the moment he is back and available for selection."
Cook also announced they will have the services of Joe Root, who was involved in an altercation during Saturday's match against Australian David Warner.
Sri Lanka stands a chance to defeat the English squad behind the efforts of paceman Lasith Malinga, who took four wickets in his club's narrow loss on Sunday against the Kiwis.
