A manhunt is underway for a man suspected of killing his wife, a church pastor and another woman on Thursday in Florida, authorities said.
Andres "Andy" Avalos, 33, allegedly shot and killed his wife Amber, 33, and an unnamed woman at a home in Bradenton Thursday afternoon, Manatee County police told WTSP.
He also allegedly traveled to the nearby Bayshore Baptist Church, where his wife was the nursery and children's director, and shot and killed 31-year-old Pastor James "Tripp" Battle.
The order of the murders was not immediately clear. Deputies first arrived at the Bradenton church in response to reports of a shooting at one of its residences. A witness at the scene then told deputies about the two other victims, Manatee County sheriff's spokesman Dave Bristow told the Associated Press.
Avalos is now being sought for questioning. He was last seen in Bradenton driving a gold Chevrolet Suburban with Florida license plates, WTSP reported. Police believe he is armed and dangerous.
"We don't know if whether or not he is still alive," Bristow told the AP. "We presume he is."
Amber and Andy Avalos have six children together, who are now staying with a family member, Bristow said.
The identity of the unnamed woman has not yet been released pending notification of her family.
