Khloe Kardashian is a single woman ... again.
The reality star has ended her on-and-off relationship with rapper French Montana for a second time this year, Us Weekly reported. A source told the magazine that she "wasn't ready after Lamar [Odom] and it was getting too serious."
"She respects and cares for him but just wasn't ready," a source said.
The two first split in September after eight months of dating, but reconciled around the rapper's 30th birthday in November. The couple were introduced by a mutual friend and quickly began dating after Kardashian split with husband Lamar Odom.
In September, Us Weekly reported that the couple were on a break because the relationship became "too heavy" for the reality star and she wanted time away from him. A source claimed that the relationship ended because of Montana's "needy, obsessive" behavior, adding the he "became so dependent" on Kardashian.
"For all intents and purposes, Khloé is single again," a source said. "She's just decided to move on. Khloé thinks he's a great guy but it just wasn't working out. They are on a break. The relationship got too heavy and Khloe needed to take a step back."
Another insider added: "It grated on her that he became so dependent on her."
When giving love a second chance, Kardashian told E! News that she and the rapper were just hanging out.
"But I don't think there's a title or anything," she told E! News. "That's why it's so awkward to answer that stuff. I don't know what to say anymore, because people go up and down in relationships. Sometimes you're there and sometimes you're not...We've been having fun but there's nothing concrete."
