Florida Triple Murder Suspect's Family Urges For Surrender; $15,000 Reward Offered

A $15,000 reward is being offered for information leading to a man suspected of killing his wife, her friend and a pastor on Thursday, WTSP-TV reported.

A manhunt has been underway for Andres "Andy" Avalos after his wife Amber, who was the mother of their six kids, and her friend Denise Potter were found dead at a home in Bradenton, south of Tampa, Fla. A pastor from nearby Bayshore Baptist Church, James "Tripp" Battle, was also found shot dead.

Avalos was last seen in the area driving a gold Chevy Suburban with Florida license plates. Police found the vehicle abandoned in a Walmart parking lot Thursday night, WTSP-TV reported.

The 33-year-old suspect's family is urging Avalos to turn himself in.

"Andy, I don't know where you're at or what you're going through, but I hope to God that you realize what you have done to your family," a grief-stricken Deanna Freniere, Avalos' sister, told the station. "And how dare you not think of the six kids you have and the future that they're gonna have now.

"I pray that you come out of hiding and I pray that you give yourself up," Freniere said.

Deputies were first dispatched to a residence at the Bayshore Baptist Church after receiving reports of a shooting. Officers at the church then learned of the two other victims at a home in Bradenton.

The police hunt has residents spooked. Some fear Avalos, believed to be somewhere in the area, might return to the home where his wife and Potter were found dead.

"He could come back here. He could come in a different car," local resident Cindy Crist told the station. "Kids lost their mother ... in all ways, it's a no-win situation."
