Stan Lee Confirms Cameo In ‘Marvel’s Agent Carter’

Stan Lee confirmed he would make a cameo in the upcoming ABC series "Marvel's Agent Carter."

"Oh, by the way, I do have a cameo in a new show, a TV show coming out called 'Agent Carter.' Watch for the fourth one. I think my cameo is in the fourth episode," Lee said during a special Q&A session for "75 Years of Marvel" at the Hammer Museum. "They ought to be ashamed of themselves that they didn't give me three others before that but what the hell. It's kind of a good cameo."

ABC will debut "Agent Carter" on Jan. 6 with a two-hour premiere. The eight-episode first season will run during the winter hiatus of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Lee made a cameo for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." midway through last season. His guest appearances continue a long tradition of the comic creator appearing in or lending his voice to the movies and TV shows based on Marvel Comics.

"Agent Carter" will take place in the aftermath of "Captain America: The First Avenger," and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) has found herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Carter must balance her administrative duties and secret missions for Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) while navigating life as a single woman in America after losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers.

The new series also stars James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj as Agent Daniel Sousa and Shea Whigham as Chief Roger Dooley.

"Agent Carter" premieres on Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
