Sri Lanka can clinch the series with a win on Wednesday after Saturday's six-wicket victory, which gave the Sri Lankans a 3-1 lead in the seven-game ODI series. Kumar Sangakkara won the Man of the Match award for his performance, which included scoring a team-high 86 runs. Skipper Angelo Mathews added 51 runs, and Kushal Janith Perera chipped in with 31.
On the bowling front, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Rangana Herath and Ajantha Mendis showed up big. The three of them each took a trio of wickets apiece, with Dilshan and Herath recording 10 outs each and Mendis recording nine.
Engand's James Taylor led his team offensively with a game-high 90 runs, and skipper Eoin Morgan added 62 runs to the efforts. Their bowlers paled in comparison with Sri Lanka's bowlers, with Chris Jordan taking two of the team's four total wickets.
