Brandi Glanville fell victim to dating in the 21st century. The reality star's boyfriend broke up with her via email. That's one small step above a text message break up.
"My boyfriend just broke up with me via email because I said my kids will always be my first priority...NYC here I come," Glanville tweeted on Dec. 6.
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star shares two sons, Mason and Jake, with her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian. Glanville and Cibrian split in 2009 after eight years of marriage.
The former couple has been embroiled in a recent alimony battle. Cibrian claimed in February that he had overpaid Glanville in spousal support and that she owed him more than $100,000. The feud was then documented for the current season of her Bravo reality series.
The warring sides may have settled recently according to another tweet sent out by Glanville. "Deserved thanks to the fairness & wisdom of our California Family Court system. Case closed! ;)," she wrote on Dec. 6.
The reality star wants to move on and leave the legal sniping behind. She has secured financial stability on her own and claims she no longer needs Cibrian's money.
"I honestly don't [care]," Glanville told Us Weekly about receiving $1,000 a month in spousal support. "I got this, it's fine. I don't even ask him for my checks anymore, it's like, 'Okay, thanks.' I know I can do it on my own."
Glanville jokes she has "like 85 jobs" including a podcast, a book series, the "Housewives" show and the upcoming season of "The Celebrity Apprentice."
"I am making my own money and so it's not as stressful," she told Us. "It sucks to be fighting with lawyers for so many years - it's been five years now so that needs to stop. That money can be better spent on our children."
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo. "The Celebrity Apprentice" will premiere on Sunday, Jan. 4 at 9 p.m.
