A man may be on the run with his 11-month-old son after the child's mother was found dead in the kitchen refrigerator of a Houston apartment, KBTX reported on Tuesday.
The woman's body was found after workers smelled a strong, foul odor coming from the unit.
An Amber Alert was issued for the baby, Achilles Lambert, and 38-year-old Patrick Lambert on Monday night, KHOU reported. According to authorities, the father is now a person of interest in the woman's death. The child may be in danger, and no one has seen or heard from them in a week.
It's not clear how long the body was in the refrigerator for, but power was turned off on Nov. 20 for lack of payment. Police said the woman wasn't facing eviction.
