Today StarWars.com (via Comic Book.com) disclosed the cover of the long awaited new novel in the expanded Star Wars universe, "Star Wars: Dark Disciple."
The book jacket, which you can see in all its glory above, was rendered by artist Matt Taylor, and it was written by New York Times Bestselling Author Christie Golden. This new book was originally announced at this year's San Diego Comic-Con to much enthusiasm.
Based on a series of scripts originally written for the unaired seventh season of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and featuring ex-Sith bounty hunter, Asajj Ventress, and the unorthodox Jedi Quinlan Vos, this new "Star Wars" tale of love and loss, betrayal and redemption is being produced in creative collaboration with the Lucasfilm Story Group and Dave Filoni, supervising director of "The Clone Wars" and executive producer of "Star Wars: Rebels."
"Star Wars: Dark Disciple" will be warping onto bookshelves this summer...July 7, 2015 to be exact.
