Pop superstar Justin Timberlake has never held back on proclaiming his admiration for country superstar Garth Brooks, and Timberlake put that admiration to music during a recent concert in Brooks' home state of Oklahoma.
The stage was set when Timberlake attended a Brooks' show at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis on Dec. 4, according to Taste of Country. The pop star later posted a photo on Instagram of him backstage with Brooks with the caption, "One of my IDOLS. Garth... You are a MASTER of your craft. I am in awe of you, still."
The next night (Dec. 5), Timberlake was performing his own concert in Oklahoma City when he decided to musically "high five" Oklahoman Brooks by singing the country star's smash hit "Friends in Low Places." The audience was soon belting out the song right along with Timberlake.
