Pakistan won the first ODI of the series on Saturday by three wickets. Haris Sohail scored a team-high 85 runs and recorded 10 outs, earning him the Man of the Match award, and Shahid Afridi added 61 runs. On the bowling front, Mohammad Irfan recorded 10 outs and took three wickets, and Wahab Riaz had 10 outs and two wickets.

New Zealand's Ross Taylor scored a game-high 105 runs, but received little support from his teammates on the offensive side of the pitch - no other player came close to reaching the half-century mark, with Daniel Vettori's 27 runs being the team's second-highest number of runs.

Vettori also had 10 outs and took two wickets, and James Neesham had 9.3 outs and a pair of wickets.

The match will take place at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates. Weather.com forecasts a sunny day with temperatures reaching as high as 82 degrees Fahrenheit; no rain is expected.
