Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy left last week's game against the Atlanta Falcons with a nagging hip injury. Lacy has been limited in practice this week and his status for Week 15 remains questionable.
"[H]e said Thursday after doing next to nothing at practice that it's a question of pain tolerance on whether he'll play against the Bills," Jason Wilde of ESPNWisconsin.com wrote.
Lacy has played through injuries before, most notably last season as a rookie with a lingering ankle issue-- he did not miss any games though.. However, this injury may pose a different problem.
"Lacy said this injury is different because there's no tape-job to help protect it," Wilde noted.
Lacy owners should definitely monitor his status up to Sunday's game. Even if he is active, there is no guarantee he will receive a full workload. Backup running back James Starks is worth a handcuff, as he saw seven carries to Lacy's 12 against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14. Starks has 285 yards on 69 rushing attempts (4.1 Yards per carry average) and two touchdowns for the season.
