Rolling Stones Top 2014 Box Office Stats Followed by Paul McCartney, One Direction, 5 Seconds Of Summer

The Rolling Stones keep staying on top. The hard-driving rockers had the biggest single concert run of 2014.

The band played three shows at the Tokyo Dome on Feb. 26, March 4 and 6 for a total of 147,493 people taking in a gross of $27,946,751, reports Billboard. To get that total, that means the tickets for the shows averaged $189.48, although the true range of ticket prices was $97.70 to $781.63.

Paul McCartney came in second, playing at the same Tokyo venue on Nov. 18, 19 and 21, 2013 (the survey year runs November to October) before 146,845 and taking in $23,493,800 or an average of $159.99 per ticket.

Next on the single concert run list are One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer.
