"The X Factor" judge and former Spice Girl Mel B -- who was rushed to a London hospital battling a mysterious illness on Dec.11 -- has been released from the medical facility and will appear tonight on the final show of the UK's "X Factor" competition to see the winner crowned, reports The Mirror. There has been no official word on the illness that caused the singer's dramatic health scare.
Mel B was admitted to a medical facility last week with an unknown ailment Dec. 11and was being treated in a private ward, according to UK newspaper The Mirror.
Conflicting reports have her either collapsing at home and being rushed to the hospital, or that she was "screaming in agony" while being driven to a press conference with her chauffer racing down London streets to get her to the hospital.
"She is in hospital and is seriously ill. We are awaiting the result of tests and then we will know exactly what is wrong," a source told the British newspaper at the time.
A spokesperson for the star declined to address the claims in detail, but appeared to acknowledge singer-judge isn't doing well.
"We're not making any comment. It's a private medical matter," her representative said.
Mel was last seen at the Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday, Dec. 9, according to the Huffington Post.
A source close to the star told the Sun newspaper, "She is in a bad way. Everyone is very worried. We are all just praying she comes through this."
