Florida Teen Possibly Paralyzed After Being Shot 13 Times For Throwing Eggs At Cars

A Pine Hills, Fla., 15-year-old may be paralyzed after being shot 13 times for throwing eggs at a man's car, the Daily News reported on Sunday.

Reginald Haywood and Gabriela Simmons pulled over when they saw Tychius Gaines throwing eggs at cars, and told the teen that they'd shoot him if he threw another egg at Haywood's vehicle.

But Tychius didn't listen and proceeded to throw another egg at the car, reports stated. Then, Simmons and Haywood left the apartments where the incident occurred and came back an hour later with Tommy "Tboy" McDuffy and his brother, Ktwan "Scoota" McDuffy.

Ktwan McDuffy got out of the car and shot Tychius 13 times after an argument. Gaines may now be paralyzed, according to WFTV.

Simmons, Haywood and the McDuffy brothers are being held without bail at the Orange County Jail. They were charged with first-degree murder and Ktwan McDuffy was charged with attempted murder using a firearm.
