Amber Alert Issued For Infant Boy Last Seen With Family Friend, Florida Cops Say

An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday morning for a Florida infant boy possibly last seen at a Jacksonville bus station with a woman who is not his mother, First Coast News reported.

Demarion Hampton, who has brown eyes and weighs 12 pounds, was wearing a red onesie with red socks on Monday when a family friend, 17-year-old Charteria Pittman, told his mother she would take him to get Christmas pictures taken at Walmart.

Pittman and the 5-week-old baby left from his home in Palatka, Florida, but the two did not come back.

Investigators believe Pittman boarded a bus with Hampton in Palatka and might have been seen at a Greyhound bus station in downtown Jacksonville, First Coast News reported.

There have been no confirmed sightings of Hampton and Pittman, who stands at 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

She was wearing a white shirt with black, gray and white pants.

Pittman might have lost her own child earlier this year and is possibly emotionally unstable, according to First Coast News.
