Charlie Sheen Will Reprise His ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ Character For ‘The Goldbergs’

Charlie Sheen's comeback on his former CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men" still remains unknown, but he will return to network television playing another familiar role from his past.

Sheen will reprise his role as Boy in Police Station from the 1986 film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" for an upcoming episode of "The Goldbergs" on ABC, according to People. He will recreate the scene he shot with Jennifer Grey, who played Bueller's (Matthew Broderick) sister, almost 30 years ago.

In the episode, Barry (Troy Gentile) will fake sick to try and stage his own epic "day off." The day ends up a disaster and when Pops (George Segal) and Adams (Sean Giambrone) try to save it, things go from bad to worse.

Hayley Orrantia, who plays Barry's sister Erica, will help Sheen recreate the police station scene. Much like Bueller's sister, Erica finds herself in trouble after ratting out her brother.

Although Sheen only appeared in one scene of "Ferris Bueller," it proved a breakout role for the young actor. He followed it up with "Platoon" in 1986, "Wall Street" in 1987, "Eight Men Out" in 1988 and "Major League" in 1989.

The episode will air in early 2015. "The Goldbergs" airs on Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. on ABC.
