Two armed men knocked over a New Jersey gentlemen's club that served as the fictional Bada Bing strip club on HBO's "The Sopranos."
Police responded to the Satin Dolls establishment in Lodi, New Jersey around 4:45 on Dec. 21, according to NJ.com. The two robbers with shotguns fled the scene and are still at-large.
"The Sopranos" used the location for exterior and interior shots of the show's fictional club, the Bada Bing strip. Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) kept his office in a back room of the club, owned and run by his consigliore Silvio Dante (Steven Van Zandt).
On Location Tours for "The Sopranos" makes a stop at the Satin Dolls. The tour also includes stops at Barone Sanitation (Tony's legitimate business), the Skyway Diner (where Michael Imperioli's character Christopher was shot) and Big Pussy's (Vincent Pastore) auto body shop.
Although the Bada Bing featured topless women, New Jersey law prohibits topless or nude dancing in establishments that sell alcohol. Full bars with a liquor license can only offer patrons non-topless or non-nude go-go dancers.
