Kevin Hart and Josh Gad enjoy a good party so much that they crashed a wedding reception for total strangers in West Hollywood on Dec. 13.
The lucky newlyweds Rajan and Chandni sat before friends and family when “The Wedding Ringer” stars walked in unannounced, according to Yahoo! Movies. Hart and Gad even came properly dressed in black ties and suits.
The two actors heard about the marital festivities while at a photo shoot for their upcoming comedy. Midway through the shoot at Quixote Studios, Hart and Gad ditched their obligations to have a little fun.
“We were doing a photo shoot right next door and we were a little insulted that we weren’t invited to this wedding. So we just showed up,” Gad said as he took the microphone in front of the wedding guests and the bride and groom.
The couple received a special and spontaneous gift from each of their celebrity guests. Hart wanted to give a speech about “love” and began reciting an acrostic poem.
He started strong with “L is for Lucky,” but needed Gad to assist him on the next two letters: O is for Opportunity and V is for Victory. Hart took home the rest of the way with the sweet sentiment of E is for “everlasting.”
Tony-nominated Gad put his musical skills to work and sang the couple an improvised song. “Rajan/And Chandni/Are going to make beautiful babies,” he sang.
The two stars then wrapped it up with a dance party for all the guests and the beautiful married couple.
“The Wedding Ringer” premieres in theaters on Jan. 16.
The groom Rajan uploaded their performance to his YouTube page on Dec. 19 and captioned it, "We are still speechless. Incredible." See it below:
