Free bird!
A male ostrich was caught on video surveillance footage running through a toll booth in China on Monday before darting in front of a truck, ABC News reported.
Standing at about six feet tall, the ostrich is bigger than some of the men who tried to corral it. The 33-pound native-African bird chased trucks as they passed by.
The flightless animal is domesticated and is owned by someone who also keeps a female ostrich around. The male was found missing Tuesday morning.
After the bird became exhausted, it was escorted off the highway and reunited with its owner, The Telegraph reported.
