Iggy Azalea's unique onstage persona has contributed to her having a breakout year with her music. Now that same sense of style has landed her modeling gigs with two well-known, youth-oriented fashion brands, according to The Improper.
The Australian rapper is currently showcased in a holiday campaign for Forever 21, a family-owned business that is the fifth largest specialty retailer in the United States. She announced her deal with the company in October. The deal also includes her boyfriend Nick Young, who plays for the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers.
Azalea posed earlier this year for Revolve Clothing as part of its summer 2014 campaign. She followed model Emily Ratajkowski, who posed for the brand's spring campaign.
"Iggy represents Revolve in both style and attitude," said Founder and Chief Executive Michael Mente in a statement. "Our customer is risk-taking, sexy and confident, and Iggy is the perfect embodiment of that. We don't like to play it safe, and neither does Iggy," he added.
Azalea candidly admits she faces challenges being new to modeling. "The trickiest thing is not having any clue what you're doing," she said in a recent interview.
In her Forever 21 campaign, she wears high-waist leggings, boyfriend blazers and mesh crop tops.
In the Revolve shoot she wears designs that include crop tops and capri pants in floral prints, with stylish sunglasses for photographer Chris Shintani.
