A Brazilian man admitted to killing 11 people before turning himself in to authorities in Rio de Janeiro.
Michel de Oliveira claimed he killed his mother's partner before performing esquartejado, dismemberment of the body, according to U.K.'s Mirror, as well as using a manhole cover to bludgeon two victims to death.
The 31-year-old has identified eight victims, but told police he could not identify the remaining three. De Oliveira claims he turned himself in after he heard the police were looking for him, according to Mirror. He will be held for 30 days while police investigate "the veracity of his statements."
G1, a Brazilian news site, compared the case to Sailson José das Graças, according to Mirror. Das Graças admitted earlier this month that he killed over 41 people for fun in the Rio area.
