PlayStation 4 Price Rumors: Amazon Bundles Hint PS4 Games May Cost $60

Sony has kept very quiet about how much money games for the next generation console will cost upon release. However, new price bundles from Amazon give some hints as to the price of new games. If gamers want to spend a little extra money, they can opt for one of Amazon's bundle that come with some extra perks.

While the bundles don't give an exact total for the price of a game, for an extra hundred dollars, people can purchase the "Battlefield 4" Launch Day Bundle, which includes the new game, the new console and a one-year subscription to PlayStation Plus, the service that all PS4 users will need in order to play the online multiplayer for Battlefield or any PlayStation game. According to PC Mag, those who order before June 17 will receive a bonus "Battlefield 4" Bttlepack code, which includes new weapon accessories, dog tags, knives, XP boosts and character customization items.

In addition, Amazon is offering bundles on "Killzone," for the same $499.90 price as "Battlefield 4." That too comes complete with a one-year subscription to PlayStation Plus, a $50 value, and a copy of "Killzone: Shadow Fall"

Bundles for the games "Knack" and "Watch Dogs" are slightly less expensive than "Killzone" and "Battlefield 4." Amazon is offering these games at $460, but these bundles do not include a subscription to PlayStation Plus.

When splitting the difference between the console and the "Knack" and "Watch Dogs" bundles, the added price of the game to the bundle puts the game's value at $60, the same price of current PS3 titles as well as the same price that Microsoft has said the Xbox One's titles will be marketed with. This could hint that PlayStation, although quiet about the price of their games, isn't planning on upping the price for new titles at all. However, no official confirmation has been made.

As it stands right now, PS4 is beating its rival, the Xbox One, in value. At last week's E3, Sony announced their console would cost a whopping $100 less than the next incarnation of the Xbox. In addition, PS4 will have no restrictions on sharing and selling used games, unlike the Xbox One.
