E! just released the first sneak peek at the upcoming season of "Fashion Police" featuring new cohost Kathy Griffin and she's definitely going to bring the sass this season. The 54-year-old comedian joins newbie Brad Goreski (who's replacing George Kotsiopoulos) and returning cohosts Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic.
The show, which has been on hiatus since the death of Joan Rivers in September, kicks off on Jan. 12 right in time for the Golden Globes. It will include 17 episodes.
"Not only was Joan a trailblazer, she was also a dear friend and mentor to Kathy, who will no doubt continue her legacy and do the series justice by bringing her own unique comedic style and tell-it-like-it is personality to host the chair," said Jeff Olde, executive vice president of programming and development at E!.
"Plus the addition of trendsetting stylist Brad completes the panel as the show begins its next chapter, which will focus on covering the major award shows and fashion events throughout the year," he added.
Griffin previously told E! Online that she has no plans to hold back when critiquing celebrity red carpet looks and warned that she's "taking no prisoners."
"I get it! These are some big shoes I'm going to fill. Joan was truly one of a kind. Now I hope you will accept me for me. I'm just Kathy," she said. "Did I say I'm just Kathy? I meant I'm Kathy F**king Griffin and you celebrities better strap yourself in, as I am taking no prisoners. I am not holding back so DAMMIT let's have some fun!"
