The new season of "American Idol" kicks off a week into of 2015. Country superstar Keith Urban--who is returning to the coveted judge's chair for the third time--may find himself weighing in on the talent of a Keith Urban superfan.
In a just-released trailer for the upcoming season 14, teenager Riley Bria is confronted by "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest just before the young performer does auditions. Seacrest gives Bria a pop quiz on Urban--and the singer-guitarist from Spring Hill, Tenn., is impressive in his knowledge of the country star. Bria correctly names Urban's birthplace and the title of his current album. And he came close-real close-to giving the right answer to the question of how many No. 1 singles Urban has had in his career.
Bria auditioned for the music competition talent show by performing one of Urban's own songs.
"It's a scary thing, but I'm excited to do it," Bria confessed.
