The caption under a High School photo is usually a big deal, it's how you chose to be remembered by your peers. A girl chose to have her memory immortalized by writing a rather vulgar message that bypassed teachers and editors as it was written cryptically using the periodic table.
Jessica Lee's message managed to get past teachers and ended up in print under her smiling photo. However, it's easy to understand how it got overlooked as it does look innocent enough.
The message read: '(F) flourine (U) uranium (C) carbon (K) potassium (Bi) bismuth (Tc) technetium (He) helium (S) sulfur (Ge) germanium (Tm) thulium (O) oxygen (Ne) neon (Y) yttrium.'
Eagle-eyed readers on Reddit quickly caught on the cryptic message and posted the deciphered meaning behind it. Jessica Lee wrote "F**k b**ches get money" below her picture which was first coined by the late rapper Notorious BIG.
Lee is a student at Garfield High School in Seattle, according to Complex.
However, this isn't the first time a student was able to print a vulgar message in a yearbook without officials noticing.
Last year, administrators at University City High School in San Diego apologized after they failed to notice the sexually suggestive quotes printed below three male seniors' photos.
The quotes were said to be sexual innuendos and references to masturbation.
It went through hundreds of people before it was noticed by one parent, who immediately contacted the school.
