New Year’s Eve TV Specials 2014: What And Where To Watch

Check out our comprehensive list of all the TV countdowns happening throughout the evening to help ring in the New Year.

Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest

Ryan Seacrest has successfully taken over as the full-time host for ABC's annual countdown and this year he welcomes Taylor Swift as the headline act in Times Square. Elton John will make his "Rockin' Eve" debut with a special performance of "I'm Still Standing" from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The festivities will also feature performances by Florida Georgia Line, Idina Menzel and MAGIC! as well as One Direction, Iggy Azalea, Charli XCX and Meghan Trainor on the West Coast at the Billboard Hollywood Party (hosted by Fergie). Sets from Lady Antebellum and Gavin DeGraw will stream in from Nashville.

"New Year's Rockin' Eve" kicks off at 7 p.m. on ABC and runs until a little after 1 a.m. (with a half-hour interruption at 11 p.m. for the local news).

New Year's Eve with Carson Daly

Carson Daly has been a longtime fixture on New Year's Eve for many who grew up with him hosting the festivities on MTV before he went to NBC in 2003. This year, Daly will welcome special guest performances by Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, Seth MacFarlane, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams.

"New Year's Eve" starts at 10 p.m. on NBC and runs until 12:30 a.m. (with a half-hour interruption at 11 p.m. for the local news).

Before Daly starts his countdown, Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford take a look back at the year's biggest stories, scandals and trends in the special "A Toast to 2014!" starting at 8 p.m.

Pitbull's New Year's Revolution

Fox spices up the night with Pitbull a.k.a. Mr. Worldwide, who will host live from his hometown of Miami, Fla. He will be joined by Enrique Iglesias, Fall Out Boy, the Band Perry, Fifth Harmony and Becky G. The host will then perform his own set as the clock strikes midnight and 2015 begins.

The "Revolution" starts at 8 p.m. on Fox and runs until 12: 30 a.m. (with an hour interruption at 10 p.m. for the local news).

New Year's Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin

Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin have transitioned from an odd-couple to a strangely perfect pair of co-hosts for CNN's broadcast over the last eight years. This year, the newsman and comedian will check in with correspondents across the country and the world in cities such as London, Moscow, Beijing and Calcutta as well as New Orleans, Memphis, the Bahamas and the Crab Drop in Easton, Maryland.

The Times Square celebration starts at 9 p.m. and runs until 12:30 a.m. on CNN.

MTV's NYE 2015

Victoria Justice, who stars in the upcoming MTV series "Eye Candy," and Charlamagne of "Guy Code" will host the hour-long countdown to 2015. In addition to their live updates from Times Square, comedians from "Girl Code" and "Guy Code" will take a look back at 2014 and discuss the biggest trends, scandals and relationships.

The show starts at 11 p.m. on MTV.

TeenNick Top 10

Nick Cannon hosts the special edition of the TeenNick series, which will countdown the top music videos of the years in the last hour of 2014. Cannon will also perform his single, "Looking for a Dream," along with performances by 4Count and Echosmith in front of a live audience in Times Square.

The Top 10 show kicks off at 11 p.m. on all the Nickelodeon networks (Nick at Nite, TeenNick, NickToons and the NickMom block).
