The Ole Miss Rebels play the TCU Horned Frogs on Wednesday in the 2014 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. Kickoff is at 12:30 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast via the links provided below.
Ole Miss (9-3) started the season with seven straight wins, but faltered down the stretch, winning only two of their last five games, including their 31-17 season-finale win against Mississippi State. Still, the Rebels' 2014 campaign saw marked improvement from the last two seasons, in which they totaled only 13 wins, and was enough to earn coach Hugh Freeze a four-year extension.
"It's a difficult task in this league, but I think we've proven that we can be competitive and relevant," Freeze said of playing in the SEC, via ESPN.
Ole Miss can end their season on a high note, but a big part of that depends on how well they contain TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin. The dual-threat signal caller passed for 3,714 yards and 30 touchdowns and rushed for 642 yards and eight touchdowns, feats the Rebels will have to take into account when game-planning for him.
"Going into this game, you have to have really good pocket awareness," said Rebels defensive end C.J. Johnson. "... Spread offenses, they like to get you out in space and make you tackle. We're a good tackling defense. We don't give up many yards after the catch. We don't give up many big plays. We rush the quarterback. We stop the run. It's going to be a good challenge for us with all the stuff they present on offense. If everybody stays locked in on defense and we do what we have to do, I think we'll be fine."
TCU, meanwhile, concluded their regular season with an 11-1 record. Their only loss came to Baylor on Oct. 11; since then, the Horned Frogs have won seven straight games.
