Tricia Davis Pregnant: Macklemore, Fiancée Expecting First Child Together

Macklemore is going to be a dad! According to Page Six, the "Thrift Shop" singer and his fiancée, Tricia Davis, are expecting their first child together. Sources in Las Vegas over New Year's told the newspaper that Davis avoided alcohol the entire night and Macklemore was being extremely overprotective.

The former nurse wore a loose-fitting black dress to ring in the New Year, supposedly trying to hide her baby bump. The source said that Macklemore and Davis joined a group of friends for dinner at the Mirage restaurant Stack and she stuck to non-alcoholic drinks.

"Tricia wasn't drinking while everyone else had a cocktail," the spy told Page Six.

Afterwards, everyone went to celebrity hotspot 1Oak where Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were set to perform. According to Page Six, Davis laughed and danced at the back of the club away from the crowd and whenever the "Same Love" singer wasn't performing, he was right by her side.

The source said at one point during the night Davis placed her hand on her stomach and "that's when you could see a baby bump."

This will be the first child for the couple of eight years. Macklemore, who met Davis when she was still a nurse, proposed in January 2013.

This is going to be a very busy year for the 31-year-old. According to Billboard, Macklemore promised fans that he would be releasing a new album in 2015. On Thursday, a fan tweeted, "Its 2015 and I still don't have a new @macklemore album wtf." The singer responded, "you will this year. Believe that."

Sources also confirmed the news to Billboard and said the album should be out in the second half of the year. His team is currently working on details of his first single and the release date. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis released their debut album, "The Heist" in October 2012.

UPDATE: Macklemore and Davis confirmed the news and shared a sweet video announcing the pregnancy. The couple will welcome their baby in May 2015.
